IMPROVING Queen’s Park are my strongest selection of 2020 as they host struggling Annan Athletic at Hampden as they look to further cement their play off hopes
My other Selection Stranraer has fallen victim to the weather again so I have replaced with a bet builder from the Scottish cup match between Hearts and Rangers in the tea time kick off
There are 5 games from French Ligue1 at 7pm and the goal line has again been set low and is worth backing for 13+ goals to be scored
You can listen to my thoughts and tips on all the above the games on this weeks Gambla Betting Podcast
Queen’s Park vs Annan Athletic (KO 3pm)
Spiders boss Ray McKinnon done a terrific job since being being appointed as Queen’s Park manager and his contacts have certainly been used as brought in a a swath of new players during the January transfer window.
No fewer than 7 new faces joined in January but what sands out is the quality and the experience of the players brought in.
Peter Grant has come in from Morton, Craig slater from Thistle, Stuart Morrison from Dunfermline, Ross McLean from Falkirk, experiences goal keeper Cammy bell has also signed up = youngsters Doig from Hibs and Davidson from Dundee United
Some major coups for a part time League Two side escpailly given they could and should all be playing at a higher level, Grant and Slater in particular who have hundreds of games between them.
Its no coincidence that Queen’s Park’s results have massively increased improved since the start of the year – they’ve played 9, won 5, drawn and lost just ince and that was at high flying big spending Cove.
At home they have collected 10 points in their last 4 games and they play an Annan side, who until last Saturday lost 6 on the sin conceding 18 goals in the process.
Anna’s away form is fire, 11 defeats from their last 13 and I don’t see them leaving Hampden with a positive result.
Looks like an excellent opportunity for the hosts to put the pressure on third place Cowdenbeath
Recommended Bet:
Hearts vs Rangers (KO 5.30pm)
Like last nights cup game between Hibs and ICT, I’m expecting this to be a cracking game under the floodlights with plenty of action. Should see at least 2 goals and plenty of cards in what is another cup final for Ranhers in their quest to finally win a trophy.
Hearts have been shocking this season but did beat the Ibrox side 2-1 a few week ago and will be looking to do the same
Recommended Bet
- 2+ goals / 9+ Corners / 3+ cards
- 21/20 (Bet 365 BetBuilder)
French Ligue 1 Total Goals – 5 Matches 7pm
- 13+ Goals to be scored
- 6/5
- All 5 matches over 1.5 goals
- 9/2
