IT’S been a great week for punters with the coffers swelled as we approach a much reduced weekend card due to the International break.
I have three tips from Saturdays matches with Airdrie’s trip to Stranraer, Cove Rangers home match against toiling Brechin and in the English National league, Ebbsfleet vs Hartlepool.

Stranraer vs Airdrie (KO 3pm)
It was one of the results of the season last Saturday in League One as Airdrie went to Falkirk a scored a dramatic 93rd minute winner to claim a terrific 2-1 to further bolster their title credentials.
That victory to be fair was really no surprise with Airdrie leading the away table with 5 wins from 7 games – its their home form that has let them down but they are on the road again as they travel to struggling Stranraer.
Its never an easy place to visit, Stair Park but Airdrie are in great form, will be full of confidence and absolutely love their matches against Stranraer.
They’ve won 5 of the last 6 meetings between the sides, 10 of the last 12 have seen over 2.5 goals and one I particularly like ism, Airdrie have scored 2 or more goals in each of their last 8 matches against them.
Ian Murray’s side should maintain their promotion push but its team goals I’m taking

Cove Rangers vs Brechin (KO 3pm)
It was hard to ignore this match – It’s top v bottom as high flying Cove host a Brechin side who look down and out.
The Angus side have are rooted to the bottom of the league, have lost their last two matches 5-2 5-2 and have conceded 13 goals in their last three games.
The last thing they need is a trip to face the league leaders who’ll be looking to extend their 5 point lead at the top of the table.
You really have to fear for Brechin against the best side in the league – to their credit though, they do find the net having scored 2 or more goals in 4 of their last 5 games. Could very well support the goal count with a consolation but Cove should hit 3 or 4 here
