THE weekend’s footballing action kicked off in incredible fashion as Dundee United trounced city rivals Dundee 6-2 to send bookies running for cover.
Selectabet and I have posted our thoughts on the weekend’s action on the latest edition of Gambla podcast and I have two bets from Saturday’s Scottish games.
Cove Rangers vs Queen’s Park
Like Dundee United – League Two leaders Cove have a great opportunity to extend their lead at the top of the table as they welcome Queen’s Park.
Paul Hartley’s side look the real deal and with players like Fraser Fyvie brought in, they are gong to take some beating.
They’ve scored an impressive 14 goals already this season and I was surprised to see them as big as 8-11 to win this match given their terrific start.
Mark Roberts’ Queen’s side have had a good start to the season but their wins have come against struggling Brechin and Forfar and this is much tougher.
Expecting Cove to continue their great start to the season and see off a Queen’s side who have won just 4 of their last 18 away matches.
Recommended Bets
- Cove Rangers to win and over 1.5 goals
- 11/10 (Betway) (NAP)
Motherwell vs Hibs (3pm)
- Over 2.5 goals
- 1/1 (William Hill)
