SATURDAY see’s the return of domestic football and as always it will be the Scottish matches where my selections will be coming from. Its been a great start to the season following the Scottish leagues and long may that continue.
I’ve picked out three games and you can listen to my thoughts, reasoning and selections on this weekends Gambla Betting Podcast along side Selectabet. Give it a listen.
Falkirk vs Forfar (KO 3pm)
It’s been a really disappointing few weeks for title favourites Falkirk as they slipped to a surprise 1-0 defeat away at Clyde which was followed up by a 0-0 draw at Airdrie and a disappointing 2-0 loss at Raith in the Challenge Cup.
They’ll be delighted to be back at home after a month away especially after going three games without scoring. They welcome a Forfar side who have had a miserable few weeks, having lost 4 of their last 5.
Falkirk should be too strong for Jim Weir’s part timers and with David McMillen joining on loan from St Johnstone to to add to fellow strikers Connor Sammon and Declan McManus, they should come good again tomorrow.
Recommended Bet:
- Falkirk to score 2+ goals
- 11/10 (Skybet) (NAP)
Brechin vs Cove Rangers (KO 3pm)
Paul Hartly’s Cove side have lived up to their pre season title billing with 13 points from their opening 5 games and they can continue their terrific scoring from against struggling Brechin.
They look like champions and with 17 goals in their last 5 games and scoring at least 2 in of their last 9 you have to fancy them to put a few past the Glebe Park side.
Recommended Bet:
- Cove Rangers to win and over 1.5 match goals
- 4/5 (Blacktype)
Rangers vs Livingston (KO 3pm)
Time to get to winning ways for Rangers after their poor showing against Celtic and they should see off a Livi side who’s best work is saved for their Toni Macaroni Stadium.
Recommended Bet:
- Over 3.0 goals (Asian goal line)
- 19/20 (Bet365)
