Sturm Graz v Altach (4pm)
Sturm Graz are eyeing their first home win of the new Austrian Bundesliga campaign on Saturday when they welcome Altach.
Having opened on their own patch with a 3-1 loss to champions Salzburg, Graz got up and running last weekend with an impressive 4-1 success at Wolfsberger.
Taking last term into account, that’s now four wins in five for the team that finished third.
Altach, meanwhile, ended last season in third-bottom spot, although they also have three points from their two opening fixtures in the new campaign.
After losing 1-0 at home to LASK, Altach claimed full points on the road a week ago by edging Hartberg 2-1.
However, heading to in-form Graz is a tough assignment and I’m back the hosts to prevail.
Sion v Young Boys (5pm)
Just two games into the Swiss Super League campaign, Sion boss Marco Walker is already under intense pressure.
His side have made disastrous start, losing 2-1 at home to Servette before a 6-1 battering at Basel.
Another heavy defeat could bring the axe down on Walker and his prospects don’t look good when champions Young Boys come calling.
Now managed by former Huddersfield and Schalke manager David Wagner, Young Boys have four points from their two fixtures and also secured a creditable 1-1 draw at Cluj in their midweek Champions League qualifier.
Wagner’s men can head into the second leg of that Euro tie on a high by compounding Sion’s woes.
Minnesota Utd v Houston Dynamo (Sun 1am)
Stretching the boundaries of a ‘Euro treble’, this MLS match-up is worth a look.
Minnesota are on track for the play-offs, five points and five places above the visitors, and have never lost at home to Houston.
They can continue that sequence and extend their excellent recent home record which has seen them drop just two points in six games.
Houston have gone an astonishing 18 away matches in the MLS without victory and look set for another wretched road trip.
Euro/USA Treble
