Athletic Bilbao v Rayo Vallecano
Bilbao have been banging in the goals recently and are targeting victory over Vallecano to continue their early-season momentum.
The Basque outfit thumped Elche 4-1 last time out – the second successive away game they’ve netted four – to make it three victories from the last four games.
That leaves them handily placed in sixth, while Rayo are three points below having ended a run of back-to-back defeats by defeating Valencia at home.
A tight contest beckons but Bilbabo can take the points at 7-12 with SBK.
Charleroi v Westerlo
Westerlo have an utterly miserable away record since returning to the Belgian top flight this season, losing all four games so far.
They’ve conceded plenty too – at least two per game and a total of 12 across the losing run.
Mechelen will look to prey on those vulnerabilities as they attempt to bounce back to winning ways after being edged out in a five-goal thriller at Leuven.
The hosts have dropped to eighth amid a struggle for consistency this season, but they’ve netted at least twice in three of their last four and can bag a couple – at evens with William Hill – to continue Westerlo’s travel woes.
Boavista v Sporting
Sporting head back to domestic action on a high after their excellent 2-0 home win over Spurs in the Champions League in midweek.
That made it six points from six in Europe and four straight wins including Portuguese league outings, where they have bounced back from defeats to Porto and Chaves in style.
Next up is a tricky trip to a Boasvista side who are seeking a third straight victory. However, Sporting have an excellent record in this fixture – 18 unbeaten and 16 wins including the last four in a row.
Back the visitors at 1-2 with Coral.
