Gil Vicente v Benfica
Their away win over Portuguese powerhouses Porto in February is now a distant memory for a Gil Vicente side in freefall.
They’ve gone six games without a win, including four defeats, and have failed to score in the last five matches. That rotten run has dropped them to fifth bottom, although they are all but safe from the drop.
At the other end of the table, Benfica are in hot pursuit of the title with a four point-lead over Porto and just five games left. Another Gil Vicente blank wouldn’t be a surprise, and a Benfica win and under 4.5 goals appeals at 8-11 with Ladbrokes.
Leipzig v Hoffenheim
Leizpig have dropped out of the Bundesliga’s top four and if they’re to get back there the visit of struggling Hoffenheim can be filed under must win.
Barring a couple of upsets, Marco Rose’s men remain pretty reliable at home, winning 10 of 14 this season and three of the last four.
They’ve netted 2+ in 11 of those 14 home matches and should prove too strong for a Hoffenheim side teetering just a couple of places above the drop zone.
Hoffenheim rallied recently with three straight wins, but they come into this game without victory in their last two, so go for Leipzig and over 1.5 goals at 3-5 with Ladbrokes.
Cercle Brugge v Standard Liege
Goals looks the order of the day in this Belgian battle.
Cercle’s previous three outings have all delivered over 2.5, as have four of five for Standard, whose manager Ronny Deila is very much attack-minded.
Back over to 2.5 to land at 8-11 with Ladbrokes.
