View our expert’s Goals Accumulator Tips & Predictions for Saturday which includes teams to score 2+ goals and a Both Teams to Score tip.
Our Goals Acca Tips are based on statistical analysis of recent performances.
Accrington vs Ipswich – Both Teams to Score
It had been a long time coming but Ipswich finally appear to have got their act together in League One and they will look to stretch their unbeaten run to four matches at Accrington on Saturday.
Tipped by many for the title, the Tractor Boys fell flat in the early weeks of the season but they are starting to find their feet after landing wins against Lincoln and Doncaster either side of a stalemate with Sheffield Wednesday.
Meanwhile, Accrington’s encouraging start to the season has crumbled, with John Coleman’s side losing each of their last four matches, leaking a whopping 14 goals in the process.
That said, BTTS has banked in each of Stanley’s last four outings so both teams to score is the call at the Crown Ground when fast-improving Ipswich come calling.
Airdrie to Score 2+
Two sides that have struggled for consistency so far this season square off at the Penny Cars Stadium on Saturday as Airdrie play host to Clyde.
Ian Murray’s men are level on points with the Bully Wee, with both teams occupying seventh and eighth place in the standings after eight rounds of fixtures,
However, the Diamonds have produced some of their better work on home turf in recent weeks, bagging wins against both Alloa and East Fife respectively.
Airdrie notched at least twice on both of those occasions and they can repeat the trick against a creaky Clyde backline that has been breached twice or more in three of their four away matches this season.
Nice to Score 2+
Nice are among the early front runners in Ligue 1 and they look a solid selection at home to Brest on Saturday.
Christophe Galtiers’s side have lost just one of their opening seven French top-flight fixtures, while basement-club Brest are still searching for their first three points of the campaign.
Big-spending Nice hit out-of-sorts Saint-Etienne for three last weekend and Michel Der Zakarian’s men could suffer a similar fate at the Allianz Riviera.
Les Aiglons look potent in attack, netting 2+ goals in five of their seven Ligue 1 assignments thus far, and they have the quality to bag a brace against a Brest backline that are without a clean sheet this season.
Porto to Score 2+
Porto will view Saturday evenings encounter with Pacos Ferreira as the ideal opportunity to get back on track before the international break.
Sergio Conceicao’s side were taught a lesson in a 5-1 trouncing from Liverpool in midweek, but a fixture with Jorge Simão’s mid-table troops could represent a good opportunity to restore some confidence.
The Dragons are chasing Primeira Liga leaders Benfica and they should have too much firepower for a Ferreira side that conceded two goals at home to lowly B-SAD on Monday night.
Porto have have racked up two more strikes in each of their three league games at Estadio do Dragao this season and they look well equipped to follow suit against Pacos Ferreira.
