Everton vs Leeds United – Over 2.5 Goals
Two sides at the wrong end of the Premier League table go head-to-head at Goodison Park, as Everton host Leeds United.
Following their defeat at St James’ Park in mid-week, Everton are now just two points above the relegation-zone, whilst Marcelo Bielsa’s side are just one place and four points above their opponents.
Both of these sides have two of the worst defensive records in the Premier League, conceding 81 goals between them and registering just the six clean sheets.
These two side have scored in 32/43 of their combined matches this season and with both sides far from being watertight at the back, we should see goals here with at least three being scored.
Montpellier vs Lille – Both Teams to Score
Reigning Ligue 1 champions Lille will look to bounce back from their 1-5 drubbing off champions-elect PSG last time out, as they travel to the Stade de la Mosson to take on Montpellier.
Lille actually come into this match in the bottom-half of the Ligue 1 table, four places and two points behind their opponents who currently lie in seventh-place.
Jocelyn Gourvennec’s side have struggled defensively all season long, registering just two shut-outs, whilst Olivier Dall’Oglio’s hosts have conceded in 17 of their 23 league matches this term.
Both of these sides have struck in 37/46 of their combined matches in the league and given both sides lack of clean sheets, we should see goals at both ends here.
Bayer Leverkusen to Score 2+
Bayer Leverkusen will look to consolidate their position in third, as they host a struggling Stuttgart side at the BayArena.
Gerard Seoane’s side thumped second-place Borussia Dortmund away from home last time out, meaning they’ve now one each of their last three in the Bundesliga, scoring 12 goals.
Stuttgart, on the other hand, lost 2-3 at home to Eintracht Frankfurt last time out, leaving them in 17th-position in the Bundesliga, four points adrift of safety.
Only Bayern Munich have out-scored Bayer Leverkusen tally of 54 this season and they should score at least twice against a Stuttgart side that’s lost five of their last six.
Jahn Regensburg vs St Pauli – Over 2.5 Goals
St Pauli will look to go top of the 2. Bundesliga, at they travel to the Jahnstadion, to take on Jahn Regensburg.
Both of these sides don’t come into this in great form, with the hosts losing five of their last six in the league, whilst the visitors have failed to win any of their last five.
Both of these sides are amongst the highest-scorers in the German second-tier, with them scoring 42 and 40 goals respectively.
10/11 of Jahn Regensburg’s matches at home have seen over 2.5 goals and given six of St Pauli’s last eight away have seen the same, I reckon we’ll see plenty of goals in Regensburg.
