The Saints halted a two-match losing run last weekend when they battled past the Detroit Lions, but there has been no such joy for the Chargers who have lost their last three games.

This week they will need to do that without wide receiver Michael Thomas, who misses the game for what is believed to be ‘disciplinary reasons’.
Even though he is one of their best options on offence, the Saints should be able to rack up some points against a fragile Chargers secondary.
In recent weeks, LA have been picked apart by the likes of Tom Brady and Patrick Mahomes and Brees is good enough to follow suit.
At such a short price to win, it may be better looking in the over/under alternative FT market when backing New Orleans in this one.
Over 50 is priced at 25/26 and there is every chance this could be a high-scoring affair, until the experience of Brees eventually gets the Saints over the line.
Chargers quarterback Justin Herbert has enjoyed a solid start to life in the NFL and with New Orleans allowing 11 touchdowns so far, there is scope for the 22-year-old to enjoy some success.
Saints Need to Stamp Their Authority
Even without wide receiver Thomas on the field, the Saints have several attacking outlets.
Fellow receivers Tre’Quan Smith and Emmanuel Sanders have massively stepped up in recent weeks, and they are joint-second on the team with 14 receptions each.
Running back Alvin Kamara leads the way with 30 and the trio can put New Orleans into a solid position before half-time.
New Orleans are available at EVS to score over 14.5 first-half points and with the Chargers struggling with confidence in defence, this could come off in fine style.
Kamara Can Punish the Chargers
Kamara has enjoyed a whirlwind few weeks, racking up 557 yards and seven touchdowns, and Brees has often turned to the running back for short yardage passes, which has seen the duo combine to devastating effect.
The Chargers have given up 263 yards per game on average, the eighth-most in the NFL. Kamara should enjoy a big night on Monday and he could be worth a punt at 4/1 to score the first touchdown.
