Wednesday night plays host to another crucial round of Champions League matches with Liverpool and Manchester City both in action.
Neither side won their Premier League matches at the weekend and will be hoping to get back to winning ways.
Liverpool play host to reigning La Liga champions Atletico Madrid, while City are at home to Belgian outfit Club Bruges.
Other big hitters in action include Real Madrid, who are at home to Shakhtar Donetsk, while the ties between Borussia Dortmund and Ajax and AC Milan and Porto certainly look hard to call.
Extra Firepower To Benefit Liverpool
Liverpool may have been pegged back by Brighton at the weekend to draw 2-2 but their ability to cut through opposition defences remains unquestioned.
That match made it 12 games in a row Jurgen Klopp’s men have scored twice and they are looking like the side that won the Premier League title so comprehensively two seasons ago.
Mo Salah has been at the forefront of that – the Egyptian wideman has scored an incredible 15 goals in 13 matches across all competitions this season.
Saturday brought an end to his 10 match scoring streak but Sadio Mane was there to pounce on opportunities.
For a team which has a reputation of being defensive, Atletico’s recent scoring record has been good.
They have netted two in each of their last six games and haven’t quite been as watertight defensively this season.
The previous meeting was 3-2 to Liverpool and the Reds to win and both teams to score can be backed at 2/1.
Goals Expected At The Etihad
Manchester City are also going to be keen to bounce back and they will be expectant against Club Bruges, despite the Belgian’s respectable start to the group stage.
City fired a rare blank at the weekend in a 2-0 defeat by Crystal Palace but Pep Guardiola’s men are usually very strong at home in the Champions League.
They have won 20 of their 25 European home fixtures in Guardiola’s tenure as manager and have the luxury of a big squad to choose from.
With PSG top of the group by one point and the Parisians in action against German outfit RB Leipzig, currently bottom and pointless in the group, City will be keen to keep up the chase and get three points.
Bruges have been in the goals in the Champions League this season but have a poor record in England, losing 11 of their last 13 trips.
City to win and both teams to score can be backed at 7/5.
Dortmund To Blow Group C Wide Open
The battle between Borussia Dortmund and Ajax has been a fascinating one so far and the two heavyweights meet again at the Westfalenstadion.
Last time, it was the Dutch champions who were successful with a resounding 4-0 win.
However, Marco Rose’s men are a different proposition at home and have won each of their last seven.
In all competitions, Dortmund have been victorious in 10 of their last 12 matches and sit only one point behind Bayern Munich at the top of the Bundesliga table.
Ajax meanwhile, don’t have the best record in Germany, winning just two of their last 10 away games in this competition and Dortmund can be backed to win at 33/20.
