Zinedine Zidane’s Real Madrid are back in action this weekend for the first time since their Champions League semi-final exit at the hands of Chelsea.
Zidane’s side never got going at Stamford Bridge on Wednesday evening, and their only hope of silverware this season is the La Liga title. They will still need their rivals to slip up between now and the end of the campaign, and all they can do is try to beat Sevilla on Sunday, and maintain a winning run to the season end.
Madrid might have lost to Chelsea last time out, but they have a good record against Sevilla. Zidane’s side have won four in a row against the Andalusians, keeping a clean sheet in three of those battles.
At home, they have won their last 11 matches in La Liga against Los Nervionenses, scoring an average of 3.4 goals per game.
A home win appeals at 1/1, while a home victory and over 2.5 goals also catches the eye at 21/10.
Barca Hoping to Gain Ground on Atletico
The game of the weekend in Spain sees Barcelona play host to Atletico Madrid, with third place taking on the leaders.
Ronald Koeman’s side are still in the title race, but a defeat this weekend would likely rule them out of the running.
They are only two points behind league-leading Atletico, and the head-to-head record suggests they have a great chance of throwing a cat amongst the pigeons.

Barca have lost just one of their previous 21 league games against Atletico, but that one defeat did come earlier this season.
Atletico are without a win in 14 trips to the Camp Nou; their longest current winless run away from home against an opponent in the competition.
Koeman’s men have won five in six at home, and they should not be ignored this week at odds of 5/7.
Eibar Can Drag Getafe Into Trouble
Rock-bottom Eibar can still avoid the drop this season, thanks in part to their 3-0 win over Deportivo Alaves last weekend.
That success means they are six points away from safety, and with four games left, they have the chance to climb out of trouble.
Getafe are not mathematically safe themselves, with just four points separating them from the bottom three.
Jose Bordalas’ men have not won any of their last four matches at home, and even though Eibar have not won away since January, they have a decent record at the Coliseum Alfonso Perez.
Eibar have drawn four of their five away league games against Getafe, and they are worth backing at 20/29 in the double chance market.
Punters may also want to consider Kike Garcia in the anytime goalscorer market at 17/10, with the Eibar man netting a hat-trick against Alaves. He is now Eibar’s top scorer in La Liga and has what it takes to find the back of the net once again on Sunday afternoon.
