Crystal Palace v Liverpool
LIVERPOOL have shown to spirit of champions to defy an injury crisis and move clear at the top of the Premier League.
But Jurgen Klopp’s men will need to dig deep again to grind out a victory at Crystal Palace today.
The Anfield men moved three points clear on Wednesday as Roberto Firmino’s late header sealed a 2-1 win over Spurs.
With first-choice stoppers Virgil van Dijk and Joe Gomez suffering serious injuries, it’s a testament to Liverpool’s character that they are still ruling the roost.
They are odds-on for a win today at 1/2 with McBookie but I don’t expect it to be easy against the 19/4 outsiders.
A one-goal winning margin came up for me in that Spurs clash and I’m going to revisit it here at 17/10 with Betway.
That bet has landed in two of the last three meetings of the sides at Selhurst Park.
Both those matches ended 2-1 to the Reds and a repeat of that scoreline pays 8/1 at Bet365.
McBookie have a special that pays 4/5 on over 1.5 Liverpool goals and over 4.5 corners for Klopp’s side, which looks pretty decent value.
Southampton v Man City
Manchester City dropped another two points with a shock 1-1 draw at home to West Brom and now face a tricky trip to in-form Southampton.
Saints are 6/1 with most firms for a home win and that will attract interest with City out of sorts. But it may be safer to look in the handicap markets where Saints + 1 is 7/4 (Spreadex) and Saints +2 still decent at 4/6 with Betway.
Theo Walcott scored for Southampton against old club Arsenal in midweek and his pace could test City’s defence.
The forward is 15/8 with Paddy Power just to have one or more shots on target with his right foot and that looks great value.
Everton v Arsenal
Everton have won two on the spin to surge up the table and look worth backing at 13/10 with McBookie to beat crisis club Arsenal tonight.
The Gunners have picked up three red cards in their last five league games and the last three meetings of these sides have produced four or more cards.
So I like the look of the 5/4 on offer at Bet365 for over 3.5 cards.
Man Utd v Leeds Utd
Manchester Untied’s clash with Leeds could also be fiery tomorrow as the rivals clash for the first time in the top flight since a 1-1 draw in 2004.
Over 3.5 cards pays just 4/6 here at Bet365 but William Hill price 11/10 on Leeds picking up at least one card in each half.
Ole Gunnar Solskjaer’s men delivered for me at Sheffield United in midweek when I tipped them to win a high-scoring match at Bramall Lane.
This match also promises a few thrills, with both teams to score 4/7 at William Hill and over 3.5 goals 13/10 at Unibet.
Tottenham can bounce back with a win over flaky Leicester at 13/11 with SBK.
