Premier League team news and betting odds

Bruno Fernandes Man Utd

Manchester United vs Sheffield United team news

Paul Pogba’s superb cameo against Spurs last week should ensure that he comes into United’s starting XI this week, while Mason Greenwood could also be drafted in to replace the ineffectual Daniel James.

In terms of injuries elsewhere, United have few to contend with, though Solskjaer might choose to freshen up his team a little to keep energy levels high.

Victor Lindelof, who came off with a niggle against Spurs, is the Norwegian’s one major worry, while Phil Jones continues to be plagued by fitness issues.

Manchester United predicted line-up: De Gea, Wan-Bissaka, Bailly, Maguire, Shaw, McTominay, Pogba, Fernandes, Greenwood, Rashford, Martial

Chris Wilder will have to replace John Egan and Dean Henderson for the Blades’ trip to Old Trafford, who miss out through suspension and loan regulations respectively.

Elsewhere, Sheffield United are expected to largely keep faith with the same players who featured in their 3-0 defeat against Newcastle.

Sheffield United predicted line-up: Moore, Basham, Jagielka, O’Connell, Baldock, Stevens, Norwood, Lundstrum, Fleck, McBurnie, Mousset.

Manchester United vs Sheffield United betting odds

Manchester United win: 2/5

Draw: 7/2

Sheffield United win: 15/2

Steve Bruce Newcastle manager

Newcastle United vs Aston Villa team news

The Longstaff brothers are still doubtful, while Ciaran Clark and Paul Dummett could miss out again for the Magpies. Long-term absentees Jetro Williams and Jack Colback are both ruled out, however, Steve Bruce should be able to name an unchanged XI against Villa.

Newcastle possible line-up: Dubravka, Manquillo, Lascelles, Fernandez, Rose, Ritchie, Shelvey, Hayden, Saint-Maximin, Almiron, Joelinton

John McGinn needed an ice pack on his hamstring after he was withdrawn against Chelsea and might be kept back this week to avoid worsening any injury. Trezeguet or Jota could come in to freshen up the Villa attack after an uninspiring final third showing against Chelsea.

Aston Villa possible line-up: Reina, Konsa, Hause, Mings, Targett, Hourihane, Nakamba, Luiz, Trezeguet, Grealish, Davis

Newcastle United vs Aston Villa betting odds

Newcastle United win: 13/10

Draw: 23/10

Aston Villa win: 11/5

Wigan vs Norwich - Championship

Norwich City vs Everton team news

Norwich will be without Grant Hanley, Sam Byram and Christoph Zimmermann for their test against Everton, meaning their back four is unlikely to change much from the unit that performed so poorly against Southampton.

Further up the pitch, Daniel Farke could choose to freshen things up after another toothless display however, with Marco Stiepermann in particular, primed to start.

Norwich City predicted line-up: Krul, Aarons, Klose, Godfrey, Lewis, Tettey, McLean, Bunedia, Stiepermann, Cantwell, Pukki

Carlo Anelotti will be tempted to keep faith with the same team that performed so admirably against Liverpool, though youngster Anthony Gordan could make way for a more experienced player after the 19-year-old struggled on his full league debut.

Everton predicted line-up: Pickford, Coleman, Keane, Holgate, Digne, Iwobi, Gomes, Davies, Bernard, Richarlison, Calvert-Lewin

Norwich City vs Everton betting odds

Norwich City win: 29/10

Draw: 13/5

Everton win: 10/11

Eddie Howe Bournemouth

Wolves vs Bournemouth team news

Nuno Espirito Santo has the luxury of a full squad to choose from ahead of Wolves game against Bournemouth.

Pedro Neto could be line to start after he plundered a goal from the bench against West Ham, while Adama Traore is also pushing for a place in the XI after grabbing an assist as a substitute in the same contest.

Wolves predicted line-up: Patricio, Boly, Coady, Saiss, Doherty, Johnny, Neves, Moutinho, Traore, Jota, Jimenez

David Brooks who came off with cramp against Crystal Palace, could be left out, while Charlie Daniels and Ryan Fraser will likely miss out due to injury and contractual issues respectively.

Philip Billing is rated as doubtful, though the Cherries could use his combative skillset in midfield.

Bournemouth predicted line-up: Ramsddale, Mepham, S. Cook, Ake, Smith, Groeneveld, Lerma, L. Cook, H. Wilson, King, C. Wilson

Wolves vs Bournemouth betting odds

Wolves win: 11/20

Draw: 3/1

Bournemouth win: 5/1

Jurgen Klopp Liverpool

Liverpool vs Crystal Palace team news

James Milner came off against Everton on Sunday and will likely sit out Wednesday’s game, though first choice left back Andrew Robertson should be fit enough to come back in.

Joel Matip injured his ankle at Goodison and is unlikely to feature, though Joe Gomez is fresh and ready to slot back in at the back in his place.

Mohamed Salah spent the Merseyside Derby on the bench, but should be restored to the XI on Wednesday.

Liverpool predicted line-up: Alisson, Alexander-Arnold, Gomez, van Dijk, Robertson, Henderson, Fabinho, Wijnaldum, Salah, Mane, Firmino

Ex-Liverpool youngster Martin Kelly is absent for Palace along with the versatile Jeffrey Schlupp and centre-half James Tomkins.

Elsewhere, Roy Hodgson has few injuries to contend with and can call on the same players who performed so well against Bourmeouth.

Crystal Palace predicted line-up: Guaita, Ward, Dann, Cahill, van Aanholt, Koyate, Milivojevic, McArthur, Zaha, Townsend, Ayew

Liverpool vs Crystal Palace betting odds

Liverpool win: 2/9

Draw: 11/2

Crystal Palace win: 12/1
