Premier League team news and betting odds

Saturday 20th

Watford vs Leicester City team news

Spanish winger Gerard Deulofeu and Dutch defender Daryl Janmaat are ruled out for Watford, though Nigel Pearson has few other injury worries ahead of the Hornets’’ first game back.

Troy Deeney, who initially had reservations about returning, should start with few alternatives up front for Watford.

Watford predicted line-up: Foster, Femenia, Kabasele, Cathcart, Masina, Hughes, Capoue, Sarr, Doucoure, Pereyra, Deeney

Verstaile Spaniard Ayoze Perez had fitness issues during the break and could miss out at Vicarage Road, while Daniel Amartey is another confirmed absentee.

James Maddison, Ricardo Pereira and Ben Chilwell, all of whom were injured before the break, are back fit and in contention to start.

Leicester City predicted line-up: Schmeichel, Pereira, Evans, Soyuncu, Chilwell, Ndidi, Albrighton, Maddison, Tielemans, Barnes, Vardy

Watford vs Leicester City betting odds

Watford win: 13/5

Draw: 5/2

Leicester City win: 21/20

Arsenal Aubameyang

Brighton vs Arsenal team news

Jose Izquierdo is the only outstanding injury problem for Brighton, and they’re expected to line up with a 4-2-3-1 formation spearheaded by Neal Maupay.

The midfield will be bolstered by Davy Propper and Aaron Mooy, with attacking support provided by Leandro Trossard and Solly March on the flanks.

Brighton predicted lineup: Ryan, Montoya, Duffy, Dunk, Burn, Propper, Mooy, March, Gross, Trossard, Maupay

Arsenal come into this in a much worse situation. Central defender Sokratis was ruled out before the Man City game and, with Pablo Mari going off injured and replacement David Luiz being sent off, it leaves The Gunners woefully short at the back.

Sead Kolasinac is likely to fill in beside Shkodran Mustafi, with Dani Ceballos deputising for the injured Granit Xhaka in midfield. Alexandre Lacazette and Nicolas Pepe should in in line for a return to the starting lineup, although Mesut Ozil didn’t even make the bench in midweek.

Arsenal predicted lineup: Leno, Bellerin, Mustafi, Kolasinac, Tierney, Ceballos, Guendouzi, Willock, Aubameyang, Pepe, Lacazette

Brighton vs Arsenal betting odds

Brighton win: 21/10

Draw: 9/4

Arsenal win: 11/8

Matt Doherty Wolves

West Ham vs Wolves team news

David Moyes has an almost completely fit and healthy squad to choose from for Saturday’s game, with centre-half Angelo Ogbonna the only doubt.

Argentine schemer Manuel Lanzini makes a welcome return to the fold, while January signing Jarrod Bowen will also be desperate to play having started just two Premier League games since his switch from Hull.

Michail Antonio, Robert Snodgrass and Pablo Fornals will all be pushing for starting berths with Andiry Yarmoleno and Felipe Anderson.

West Ham predicted line-up: Fabianski, Fredericks, Diop, Balbuena, Cresswell, Rice, Yarmolenko, Noble, Lanzini, Anderson, Haller

Wolves have few worries to contend with ahead of their first game back at West Ham.

With almost all of his personnel fit and ready for selection, Nuno Espirito will likely keep faith with his usual mix and Wanderers’ tried and trusted 3-4-3 formation.

As always, a strong Portuguese presence is expected with Ruben Neves, Joao Moutinho and Diogo Jota involved, with the latter forming a formidable looking front three alongside Adama Traore and Raul Jimenez.

Wolves predicted line-up: Patricio, Dendoncker, Coady, Saiss, Doherty, Neves, Moutinho, Jonny, Traore, Jimenez, Jota

West Ham vs Wolves betting odds

West Ham win: 13/5

Draw: 12/5

Wolves win: 11/10

Roy Hodgson Crystal Palace

Bournemouth vs Crystal Palace team news

Eddie Howe welcomes back a whole host of first teamers for the Cherries first game after the re-start against Crystal Palace.

Lewis Cook, Simon Francis, Adam Smith, Harry Wilson, Josh King, Dan Gosling. David Brooks and Philip Billing should all be available to play, though Charlie Daniels remains sidelined with a knee injury.

Keeper Aaron Ramsdale should also be ready following his recovery from COVID-19.

The Cherries’ biggest selection dilemma comes in the form of Ryan Fraser, who won’t feature having refused to pen a contract extension beyond June 30th.

Bournemouth predicted line-up: Ramsdale, Smith, Cook, Ake, Rico, Lerma, Billing, Brooks, H. Wilson, King, C. Wilson

Roy Hodgson has a full squad to choose from for Saturday’s game, with no major injury concerns for the Eagles to contend.

Christian Benteke, James McCarthy, Max Meyer and Mamadou Sakho will all be keen to feature, though they might well start from the bench alongside Cenk Tosun, Scott Dann and Jeffrey Schlupp.

Crystal Palace predicted line-up: Guaita, Ward, Tomkins, Cahill, van Aanholt, Koyate, Milivojevic, McArthur, Townsend, Zaha, Ayew

Bournemouth vs Crystal Palace betting odds

Draw: 11/5

Crystal Palace win: 2/1

Sunday 21st

Newcastle United vs Sheffield United team news

Jetro Willems remains sidelined with a knee injury, though Ciaran Clark, Paul Dummett and Sean Longstaff should all be fit enough for selection if picked by Steve Bruce.

Five Magpies youngsters, Tom Allan, Daniel Barlaser, Dan Langley, Kell Watts and Jack Young have all been drafted into the senior squad for the remainder of the campaign to provide cover and numbers ahead of the packed schedule.

Newcastle predicted line-up: Dubravka, Yedlin, Fernandez, Lascelles, Schar, Rose, Hayden, Shelvey, Almiron, Saint-Maximin, Joelinton

John Fleck and Jack O’Connell, who sat out Sheffield United’s draw at Villa with minor knocks, should be available again, and that duo’s return brings Chris Wilder’s squad up to full strength.

Having looked lacklustre in attack on Wednesday, Wilder could choose to freshen things up in the final third. David McGoldrick and Lys Mousset could come off the bench to start in place of Oliver McBurnie and Billy Sharp.

Sheffield United predicted line-up: Henderson, Basham, Egan, O’Connell, Baldock, Lundstram, Fleck, Norwood, McGoldrick, Mousset

Pepe Reina could return between the sticks after Orjan Nyland’s mid-week mistake, while Ally Samatta could come in to replace Keinan Davis up top.

Elsewhere, Ezri Konsa, who was suffering from cramp in the second half against Sheffield United should be fit to play, though Bjorn Engels will miss out with a knee injury.

Aston Villa predicted line-up: Reina, Mohamady, Hause, Mings, Target, McGinn, Nakamba, Luiz, Grealish, Samatta, Trezeguet

Jorginho carries over a suspension from March and won’t feature on Sunday, while doubts remain over the fitness of Callum Hudson-Odoi and Reece James.

N’Golo Kane, Ruben Loftus-Cheek, Christian Pulisic, Mateo Kovacic and ex-Villa loanee Tammy Abrhama make a welcome return to fold however.

Chelsea predicted line-up: Arrizabalaga, Azpilicueta, Zouma, Rudiger, Alonso, Kante, Kovacic, Mount, Willian, Pulisic, Abraham

Aston Villa vs Chelsea betting odds

Aston Villa win: 5/1

Draw: 7/2

Chelsea win: 1/2
