Gerwyn Price bounced back to form to win last week’s Premier League Darts fixture in Sheffield. With James Wade missing the night through illness and Peter Wright taking a first-round bath for the fourth time in five weeks, Price now has a chance of taking a top-four spot and proceeding to the semis and final night – the ‘play offs’ – in Berlin on June 13.
The Welshman needs two exceptional nights to claim his spot in the play-offs section of the competition. The first of these fixtures come this Thursday in London’s O2 Arena. And, playing against his friend, countryman, teammate and already guaranteed place in the play-offs, Jonny Clayton, there is every chance things will start off well for the 2021 World Darts Champion.
Of course, this may appear we are suggesting a degree of teamplay could be afoot. Absolutely not. But, with his back against the wall, Price is always capable of boxing himself out of trouble.

Cullen Can Beat Homeward Bound Anderson Where the 180s Line Looks Safe
Predicting what level of performance we can expect from James Wade following his recent hospitalization is impossible. So, his match against Peter Wright is one to avoid. However, the Joe Cullen versus Gary Anderson match is interesting.
Anderson has no chance of progressing further in the competition and it has been a forgettable series for him. 12 defeats from 17 matches means he is five points adrift of seventh placed Michael Smith in the standings.
Joe Cullen has amassed 17 points to date. That puts him one point adrift of Gerwyn Price and just three off of Peter Wright who currently sits in a qualifying spot. Therefore, like Price, two very strong weeks could still see him make an appearance in the play-offs.

Suffice to say Cullen is fancied to beat Anderson this week in London. But he is a short price in the traditional win market and, despite a quick kill being predicted, the best bet in this contest comes in the total match 180s market.
The total 180s match line has been set at 5.5. It looks way too big. Anderson has only hit 39 180s during the entire competition and statistically Cullen registers one less than every three Premier League Darts legs that he plays.
Premier League Darts Bet:
Cullen versus Anderson to feature less than 5.5 match 180s 17/20
Cullen v Anderson – Under 5.5 180s – 17/20 (1.85) at 888sport
