Norwich City secured promotion back to the Premier League a few weeks ago but have had to wait to put the Championship title-sized cherry on top of what has been a hugely successful season.
Watford’s form has delayed any trophy parade for the Canaries, with the Hornets beating Norwich on April 20.
However, Daniel Farke’s side can get their hands on the trophy as part of an action-packed penultimate round in the second tier.
Writing On the Wall for Reading
The Norfolk outfit sit five points clear at the top of the Championship table, even though they have lost two of their previous three games.
Norwich can be forgiven for those defeats to Bournemouth and Watford, with the Canaries finding out just before kick-off against the Cherries that they were on their way back to the Premier League.
With two games remaining, a win against Reading this week would ensure the trophy will head back to Carrow Road for the second time in three years, and Reading’s recent form suggests a home win is likely.
The Royals have blown their chances of finishing in the playoffs, while three draws in a row suggests that the players may already be looking ahead to next season.
Norwich will be looking to secure the title in style and a home win and over 2.5 goals is a solid option at 7/5.
Wycombe to Go Down Fighting
All three relegations places in the Championship could be confirmed this weekend, with Wycombe the most likely to drop down into League One.
Gareth Ainsworth’s side are six points from safety and they need to win against Bournemouth on home soil to take their survival battle to the wire.
The Cherries are destined for the playoffs, but they will want to finish as high as possible and Jonathan Woodgate’s men are in good form having won six of their previous seven in the Championship.
Wycombe have scored 10 goals in six matches, and both teams to score paired up with a Bournemouth win appealing at odds of 41/20.
No Way Out of Relegation Forest for Owls
Sheffield Wednesday are also fighting for their future in the second tier and they could be relegated before Saturday’s 3pm games get underway.
Only a win is good enough for Darren Moore’s men with anything else potential curtailing their stay in the second tier.
A Derby victory later in the day would still send Wednesday down, but that should not matter, with Forest able to do their neighbours a favour.

Forest have little to play for, but Chris Hughton’s men have only lost one of their last seven in the Championship, while they are unbeaten in four on their travels.
The head-to-head record suggests Forest have every chance of winning, with the Tricky Trees unbeaten in two matches against Saturday’s opponents.
Hughton also has an impressive record against Wednesday, having never lost against the Owls in eight meetings.
Forest are 51/20 to grab all three points, while it is worth considering draw/Forest in the half-time/full-time market at odds of 29/4.
Wednesday are likely to keep it tight in the first 45 minutes, but Forest’s superior quality should shine through in the end.
