Our Over 2.5 Goals acca betting tips are largely based on statistical analysis of recent performances.
Levante v Atletico Madrid (6.00pm)
Diego Simeone’s Ateltico Madrid aren’t a side you normally associate with goals, especially away from home where they wrote the book on winning 1-0, but the goals have been flying in lately with all of their last five seeing Both Teams Score and Over 2.5 goals.
While they’re still masters of the clean sheet they’ve lost eight goals in their ten matches away from home. At the other end only Barcelona have outscored them (49 v 44) and in Luis Suarez they have someone who is still one of the best in the business at sticking the ball in the net.
Levante haven’t been shy in front of goal lately either. Their 1-0 defeat at home to Osasuna was their first without a goal this year and they’ve netted in 17 of 22 La Liga matches.
Oostende v Genk (6.00pm)
This match was in my BTTS picks at the weekend but was postponed so let’s see if it can still deliver goals….
In a league that sees plenty of goals – all but two teams are currently averaging Over 2.5 goals in their games – these two have served up their fair share of Over 2.5 matches; Oostende 18/26, Genk 17/26.
Genk are second top scorers in the Jupiler Pro League with 50 goals and a massive 77% of their matches have seen both teams score. Hosts Oostende aren’t far behind with 66%.
Meetings between the two sides also have delivered 14 goals in the last three.
Doncaster v Accrington (7.00pm)
Both Doncaster and Accrington could do with a win in their quest for promotion as they’ve both suffered a bit of a slump in the past week or so.
Only Portsmouth have outscored Doncaster and they’ve netted in 23 of 25 League One matches. Accrington are no slouches either, their away matches average 3.17 goals per match and in Dion Charles have one of the hottest strikers in the league.
Sevilla v Borussia Dortmund (8.00pm)
Dortmund have had an indifferent season so far, seemingly unable to string a consistent run of form together but the Champions League gives them a platform to kickstart their season. They’d probably have been pleased to avoid some of Europe’s elite in the draw but Sevilla will be a proper test.
Julen Lopetegui’s side have been in brilliant form and haven’t conceded in their last seven but goal-machine Erling Braut Haaland will be confident of adding to his fantastic record in the competition having scored in each of his four games already this season.
Dortmund last six domestic matches have gone Over 2.5 Goals, as have 15 of 21 in the Bundesliga.
