After a break the top 2 flights are back this weekend in Norway and despite time being tight I’ve had a look at some things I like in Norway on Sunday and Monday.
Molde Hitting Form
Five successive wins for Molde has seen them rise up to second spot, and before the break they despatched of Bodø/Glimt 3-1 and look every bit the title favourites. Injuries have been a big issue, but they continue to look dominant in attack and controlling the midfield.
This Sunday evening they play against Odd, a team who look set to lose two important players in Lauritsen and Kitolano. They have also lost their last 3 home games, and you have to fancy Molde to go to Skien and win again to keep the pressure on Lillestrøm.
Molde are 1.95 to win the game, and I really like the price and fancy them to win well.
Other Small Eliteserien Bets
Another thing I like this week is both teams to score in Tromsø, as they welcome Haugesund. Tromsø have scored in every game so far this year, except the first game of the season, and they welcome a Haugesund side, who after a terrible start to the season, are starting to pick up points, and have scored in all of their last 6 games.
It is 1.80 for both teams to score, and I think that’s a fairly good price. 7 of the 9 Tromsø games so far have had both teams score, and I think both teams will fancy their chances for 3 points.
Another thing I quite like is corners at Lillestrøm in their game with Rosenborg. 1.975 on the Asian line for 11 corners, that is a number that has been hit in every Lillestrøm home game. Rosenborg’s last 5 games have seen 17, 16, 15, 11 and only 5 at HamKam, but I think this game should see plenty.
Down to OBOS Ligaen
Brann are THE team in the second tier this year, and this weekend they travel to Stjørdals/Blink who are second bottom of the table.
Brann have scored 3 or more in all of their away games so far, and hit 7 last time out at home to Mjøndalen, who were top of the league. 1.90 to hit 3 or more goals against Blink, who have a budget not even in the same planet as Brann, I think this could be very one sided. Worth keeping on the Brann goal train while the price is around evens!
Norway Best Bets
- Molde to beat Odd (1.95 Bet365)
- Tromsø and Haugesund BTTS (1.80 Bet365)
- Lillestrøm and Rosenborg over 11 Asian Corners (1.975 Bet365)
