TD Tips scored 1/1 on Thursday night after chasing a big odds shot; no harm, no foul.
So on to Sunday night, there’s a ton of 6pm games, and only a few at 9.25 which seems ridiculous and tiring for Scott Hanson on Redzone this week. I’d expect a lot of QUAD-BOX action, and frankly I can’t wait! Beyond the ability to speak, write and learn, Redzone Channel is quite possibly the greatest innovation in human history.
John Brown – Anytime TD – 9/4
Seriously? I’m getting over 2/1 for John Brown to score a TD against THIS Giants defense? Erm, OK.
Brown finished last week on 123 yards from 7 receptions last week and against a Giants defense which looked horribly over-matched last week I’m not entirely sure why the odds on Smokey burning up their defense.
Austin Ekeler anytime – 1/1
We were all wondering how the situation would play out in the Chargers back-field and it looks fair obviously; Ekeler had 75:25% of the snaps and he had a roughly 2:1 touch advantage over Justin Jackson, he also finished with a far superior stat-line finishing with 2 TDs through the air and one of the ground.
Detroit are a solid defense though and finished 10th best in conceding rushing yards last year. That actually plays into the hands of the Chargers at the moment with Ekeler their main man. He’s made his living through short passes in space and I’d imagine that continues after about 47 minutes of Sunday night football.
Cardinals @ Ravens – o46.5 – 10/11
Despite being garbage for 3/4 of the game the Cardinals still managed to put up 27 points in the first game of the season vs the Lions, and eventually they wore them down.
It hasn’t been mentioned in many places that the Cards had the fastest speed of offensive plays meaning that teams in their games both get more chance to score during the 60 min than others. So, given that I believe the Ravens may run it down their throats for having the belief they could possibly beat them and the greatly increased amount of plays…
I can see this one going over fairly easily.
