The esports bookmakers have Joona “Serral” Sotala priced at $1.07 for this bout, implying that he should win 93.5% of the time. Although we have no issue seeing the Finn favoured, the offered SCII betting odds seem a bit off.
Kim “Classic” Doh-woo last met with Serral in November during King of Battles 2, where the Finnish SCII pro won 2-1. It marked his third head-to-head win since 2018, but it was also their first meeting since 2019, when Serral won 3-1.
Serral is a much stronger player and is in better form than Classic, but that’s no reason to believe the underdog can’t win at least one map. Last month, Classic took a map from Park “Zoun” Han-sol (1-2) and won against Kang “Solar” Min-soo (2-0), so he should be able to cause some damage on Tuesday.

Shin “RagnaroK” Hee-bum and Joo “Zest” Sung-wook last met during TeamLiquid StarLeague 8 in November, when RagnaroK won 2-0 to notch his sixth head-to-head win of the year (6-4) and his third in a row (2-0, 2-1, 2-0). Yet despite his success last time out, the 25-year-old is expected to struggle on Tuesday.
The odds might make sense if you compare the players’ recent results. Zest won against Park “Dark” Ryung-woo (2-1) and Riccardo “Reynor” Romiti (2-0), while RagnaroK won against Reynor (2-0) but lost against Dark (0-2). Regardless, their results against other players don’t justify the offered betting odds on Zest.
At $2.40, we have to side with RagnaroK to collect his fourth-straight win against Zest. Alternatively, a minor wager on the overs at $2.50 can be considered.
