1.15 – Godolphin Under Starters Orders Maiden Fillies’ Stakes (7f)
Of the trio with racecourse experience, Stellar Queen makes most appeal having finished a remote second over this trip on the July Course in her second start some seven weeks ago. Fiorina and Saliteh both need to improve on their all-weather exploits. Plenty of the newcomers have appeal on pedigree and multiple trainers are double-handed. Silver Screen and KIRILENKO are two worth noting, with marginal preference for the Cheveley Park runner for Sir Michael Stoute and Ryan Moore in a fiendish opener.

1.50 – Newmarket Academy Godolphin Beacon Project Cornwallis Stakes (Group 3, 5f)
Both Hierarchy and TWILIGHT JET are dropping to the minimum trip after pleasing efforts in Group-race company over 6f last time. Hugo Palmer’s colt ran a stormer in the Mill Reef at Newbury having raced on the speed throughout, while Irish raider Twilight Jet has knocked on the door more than once at this sort of level this season and can draw on good memories from his Group 1 run in the Middle Park here 13 days ago. He’s offering more value at the early prices.

2.25 – Godolphin Lifetime Care Oh So Sharp Stakes (Fillies’ Group 3, 7f)
Perfect News won a C&D nursery last month and should be in the mix upped in class once more with that in mind, but GOOD AMERICAN is open to plenty of progress after landing a Salisbury maiden last month on her first start for Ralph Beckett and the daughter of American Pharoah gets the services of Frankie Dettori now quickly upped in class.

3.00 – Godolphin Stud & Stable Staff Awards Challenge Stakes (Group 2, 7f)
The Godolphin pair Al Suhail and D’Bai are closely matched on last month’s Newbury form, which gives them an edge on With Thanks. While perhaps not building as hoped on his Greenham win on comeback this season, CHINDIT faced some daunting Group 1 assignments afterwards (including fifth here in the 2000 Guineas) and his most recent outing in the Celebration Mile at Goodwood was rather luckless. A return to 7f could be ideal for Richard Hannon’s colt.

3.35 – bet365 Fillies’ Mile (Group 1, 1m)
INSPIRAL did the job nicely over this trip at Doncaster in the May Hill last month and is 3-3 thus far, including a win here on debut. She will be hard to topple now and can cement her status as ante-post 1000 Guineas favourite. After a lamentable experience in this race a year ago, Aidan O’Brien only saddles one runner this time around and Concert Hall isn’t one to dismiss easily, while unbeaten Qatar Racing filly Mise En Scene is a potential improver too. They’ll hope there are chinks in the armour of Inspiral.

4.10 – bet365 Old Rowley Cup Handicap (Heritage Handicap, 1m4f)
Siskany finished hard and fast at Glorious Goodwood in July on only his second attempt at this distance He’s been gelded since and could have plenty more to offer so he’s a logical starting point despite top-weight. Boltaway is no forlorn hope despite a 6lb penalty for his recent C&D win but MARSHALL PLAN is one to consider despite a drop in trip not looking an obvious plus under Frankie Dettori. He comes in off a good effort at Yarmouth in lesser company and remains low-mileage.

4.40 – Newmarket Pony Academy Pride Stakes (Fillies’ And Mares’ Group 3, 1m2f)
VILLE DE GRACE took the step up to this trip in her stride last month at Yarmouth (good to soft) when bagging a Listed win with plenty in hand – as the likes of Freyja and Sweet Believer were put in their place behind in second and third. Sir Michael Stoute’s daughter of Le Havre could have plenty more to offer at this journey and ground conditions seem optimal.
