Ben Simmons couldn’t wait for his Sixers to host the Nets in what will be a battle of two NBA behemoths. The Australian playmaker recently made a candid remark about Brooklyn, adding spice to their matchup tomorrow.
Along with the Nets-Sixers, there are 22 other teams who will compete as we are approaching the latter part of the 2020/21 season.
Read on below as SBOTOP gives you the latest NBA 2021 updates.
Milwaukee Bucks @ Minnesota Timberwolves
The Timberwolves look for their fourth straight home win when they’ll host the Bucks. However, they are on a back-to-back and they’re fresh from a brutal loss against the Nets with the game rescheduled to yesterday.
Meanwhile, the Bucks ended their losing streak with a convincing win over the Magic. Jrue Holiday and Giannis Antetokounmpo were rested during the said stretch, but they should be ready to go tomorrow.
Cleveland Cavaliers @ Charlotte Hornets
The Cavaliers and the Hornets are searching for a victory when they’ll square off. Cleveland and Charlotte have been shorthanded lately which is the main reason why both are on two-game losing skids.
Darius Garland (ankle) and Collin Sexton (groin) are both questionable for tomorrow while Terry Rozier (knee) and PJ Washington (ankle) are day-to-day on top of injuries from Gordon Hayward (foot), Malik Monk (ankle), and LaMelo Ball (hand).
Brooklyn Nets @ Philadelphia Sixers
Brooklyn will be plotting their revenge against Philadelphia as they lost in their previous encounter.
Kevin Durant is expected to spearhead the Nets as they’ll be without Kyrie Irving (personal), James Harden (hamstring), and LaMarcus Aldridge (illness).
Meanwhile, Joel Embiid looks to re-assert his MVP credentials. Since his return, Embiid has scored at least 20 points in his last five matches.
San Antonio Spurs @ Toronto Raptors
The Raptors aim to end their three-game home slide when they host the Spurs to try and keep their NBA 2021 odds of making the playoffs alive. Toronto are at the 11th spot with 21-34 record which makes these next few games very important.
San Antonio are also fighting for a playoff berth in the Western Conference. They are currently at ninth with a 26-26 record and a victory here will put them above .500.
Los Angeles Clippers @ Detroit Pistons
The Clippers plan to overtake the Jazz and Suns by grabbing their seventh consecutive win against the Pistons. They have been sizzling hot lately thanks to the efforts of their stars.
Paul George has been lighting it up as he’s averaged 34.3 points on 55-per cent shooting from the field in his last four games and he’ll look to keep it up versus the Pistons, who have one of the worst defences in the league.
Orlando Magic @ Chicago Bulls
Chicago plan to end their skid when they take on Orlando. After enjoying a three-game winning streak recently, the Bulls fell down to earth losing three straight.
With high expectations for the Bulls after acquiring Nikola Vucevic during the trade deadline, they should make it into the Eastern Conference’s top eight. However, they must grab wins as they’re only at the 10th spot with a 22-31 record.
Betting Tip – Chicago Bulls Asian Handicap -10.00 @ 2.02
New York Knicks @ New Orleans Pelicans
Two teams that are on a roll go head-to-head in the Knicks and the Pelicans. Both have been impressive as they’ve won three straight.
The stakes are higher for the Knicks as they’ll look to end their playoff drought. Julius Randle and RJ Barrett need to play big against Zion Williamson and Brandon Ingram in order to pull out a victory.
Betting Tip – New Orleans Pelicans Asian Handicap -3.00 @ 2.05
Indiana Pacers @ Houston Rockets
Similar to the Knicks and the Bulls, the Pacers look to gain more ground in the Eastern Conference as they face the Rockets tomorrow.
The Pacers are 25-28 after winning five of their last seven games as Caris LeVert, Malcolm Brogdon, and Domantas Sabonis have all been playing up to par.
With all of them healthy, they should have no trouble in dispatching the Rockets – who are geared towards rebuilding this term.
Golden State Warriors @ Oklahoma City Thunder
After cementing his legacy by being the Warriors’ all-time leading scorer, Steph Curry’s next step will be trying to tow his team back into playoff contention.
Golden State are at the 10th spot in the Western Conference, which means that every game from here on out is a must-win.
Dallas Mavericks @ Memphis Grizzlies
The Mavericks and the Grizzlies fight tooth and nail for victories as they want to avoid being involved in the play-in tournament at the end of the regular season.
They key matchup for this one will be Luka Doncic and Ja Morant, who are two of the best young stars today.
Betting Tip – Dallas Mavericks Asian Handicap -1.50 @ 1.88
Miami Heat @ Denver Nuggets
The Nuggets will be put to the test as they’ll start life without Jamal Murray – who recently suffered a torn ACL.
With him out indefinitely, Nikola Jokic, Aaron Gordon, and Michael Porter Jr. will have to be at their sparkling best when they take on Jimmy Butler and co.
Washington Wizards @ Sacramento Kings
Sacramento will hope to catch Washington off guard as they plan to end their losing streak.
De’Aaron Fox had a 43-point outburst previously against the Pelicans but he’ll need additional help to subdue the duo of Russell Westbrook and Bradley Beal.
