Four games are on the agenda in Serie A on Sunday, including third-place Napoli going to Lazio, who are sixth, at 19:50.
Torino can Deepen Cagliari Gloom
The action gets underway at the early time of 11:35 when Torino, in 10th, entertain struggling Cagliari, who are sitting in the bottom three.
The Turin outfit are without a win in their last four games but picked up a very creditable 1-1 draw against local rivals Juventus last time out and they are expected to come out on top with a home win available at 4/6.
Goals on the Agenda in Verona
Verona host Venezia at 14:05 and this is a game where both teams look likely to score.
The Gialloblu are the understandable favourites to prevail, having won three of their last five games, while they held Roma to a 2-2 draw last time out.
Venezia are down in 17th, level on points with Cagliari directly below, and have only won one of their last 10 games in all competitions.
However, they have only failed to find the back of the net in one of their last five games and a home win in this with both to score appeals at odds of 8/5.
More Roma frustration for Jose?
The third game to get underway in the Italian top flight on Sunday is Spezia at home to Roma at 17:05 and this could be rife for a draw, on offer at 11/4, with Jose Mourinho’s side continuing to frustrate this season.
The capital club have drawn their last two matches and three of their last four to leave them off the pace in eighth and it could be more of the same against a Spezia side who are down in 16th and still not clear of relegation danger.
Napoli can Edge it
And so to the big game of the day when title hopefuls Napoli travel to the Stadio Olimpico to face Lazio.
Napoli are only three points off the top and still have a very real chance of winning the Scudetto despite the ominous presence both Milan clubs also in the top three.
Lazio are sixth, but four points off fourth, and will be aiming to stay in the mix for the Champions League places.
This game also screams goals as BTTS would have paid out in Napoli’s last four games and Lazio’s last three and backing Napoli to win with both netting may well be the way to go, available at 3/1.
