WAYNE ROONEY made a winning start as Derby skipper as the Rams edged out Barnsley – but I’m still looking for my first win of 2020.
And it’s unlikely to be on a skinny Friday card so I’ll be concentrating on Saturday’s games.
I fancied home wins for Liverpool, Derby and Swansea last night but decided to go with a both to score double in the Championship and it was Charlton who let me down.
Liverpool beat Sheffield United without much fuss to move 13 points clear at the top with a game in hand. Really is time for maccathered to crack open the bubbly.
Well done to any winners last night including Scott with his members bet and HullShaker with his Nap.
There are two La Liga games tonight – Sevilla v Athletic Bilbao and Valladolid v Leganes. Got to fancy Sevilla but the other one is tough to call. Bordeaux tackle Le Mans in the French Cup and should win as long as they field a strong side.
