I WAS just three minutes away from landing my big Super Single before Stuart Armstrong’s superb free-kick sunk my San Marino +6 handicap bet.
Scotland’s 6-0 win was a bit of surprise – most people reckoned it would be three or four – but the minnows were worse than I thought and it could have been nine or 10.
I’d love an answer to this question though: In four games against the best side in the world (Belgium) the worst side in the world didn’t have their defence breached in the first 30 minutes of three halves out of four. How is that possible when you see how badly they defended at Hampden?
Those displays against Belgium and Scotland’s lack of a goal threat convinced me we’d struggle to score six but we made it quite easy.
My other Super Single of Robert Lewandowski to score first was more risky but surely I get half my money for Frankowski!
At least Poland’s late flurry landed my 14-5 Top Treble along with Russia and Croatia +1 so it wasn’t all bad. That was a 5.6pts profit and I’ve remembered to take 1pt off for Coventry losing to Tranmere when I needed them to win to void the moneyback fivefold posted on Saturday.
Well done to all the winners a big welcome to our new members who have come on board after we revealed shortee as a scammer who was stealing our tips and selling them for thousands of pounds. We look forward to your input.
On Monday we continue with the Euro 2020 qualifers and there are another seven games including Bulgaria v England, France v Turkey and Ukraine v Portugal. I’ve posted a preview featuring some of the matches and will add to that in the morning and post top tips.
