IT’S all about Liverpool tonight and last night all the talk was whether Ole Gunnar Solskjaer can survive another defeat as Man United manager.
After Burnley turned them over 2-0 at Old Trafford, Coral made the Norwegian just 1-2 to leave his position before the end of the season.
It’s looking increasingly tough for him, with Marcus Rashford’s injury the latest blow, and he is 6-4 favourite to be the next Premier League manager to leave Eddie Howe, who for me is unsackable at Bournemouth is 7-4, while Daniel Farke is 7-1 but again it would seem unfair for him to be booted.
I’ll tell you what though if United lose in the FA Cup at Tranmere or Watford on Sunday it could be curtains for Solskjaer.
Last night wasn’t just bad for United – my Top Treble was downed by Reading’s late equaliser at Forest although I hope anyone cashed out.
My best tip of the night was on Motherwell. I fancied them to win at Aberdeen but took double chance on a treble that was beaten mainly by no goals at Ross County.
Well done to any winners including Scott with another members bet success.
Liverpool travel to Wolves tonight in what could be one of their tougher league games while Nigel Pearson will play a seriously weakened team in the FA Cup replay at Tranmere. Watford played on Tuesday and this is a game they really didn’t want.
There are some more cup games on the Continent and I might put up something around lunchtime or make it a no bet day.
