WHAT did we discover on Wednesday? We found out Scottish women are just the same as Scottish men.
Just like many men’s sides of the past Scotland’s women somehow exited the World Cup despite leading Argentina 3-0 at one stage.
And we managed to go out in the cruelest possible fashion to a soft penalty which was the missed but ordered to be retaken by VAR.
So while Shelley Kerr’s side are heading home I’m not quite on the road back yet.
It’s day 3 of my golfing holiday and a trip in the morning to play upmarket Archerfield. Desmond’s managed to get us a game by promising winning tips next season to one of the members.
Italy Under-21s failing to score against Poland beat my Top Treble and I’m taking a couple of days off as I enjoy the apres golf to the full.
Watched the Scotland v Argentina game in a brilliant pub and the night was perfect until VAR intervened.
