IT wasn’t a great return to league action with plenty of shocks at home and abroad.
The likes of Spurs, Wolves, Atletico Madrid, Real Madrid and Bayern Munich would have downed tens of thousands of lines.
In Scotland Motherwell’s big defeat to Aberdeen was a shock to many while Dundee United, Ayr and Inverness all slipped up in the Championship.
Scottish Cup results were even stranger with many minnows doing well such as Broxburn, Lochee United and even Fort William. But I wasn’t surprised by Auchinleck beating Cove Rangers.
One cup game went for me as Elgin -1 landed my Super Single at 10-11.
It was a better day for Greg who provided a full house of winners so well done to him – and anyone else who profited on a difficult day.
I tend to go with form and stats so if form goes out of the window I’m going to lose and that’s the way it goes with betting sometimes.
Plenty to look at on Sunday including Man United v Liverpool and Hearts v Rangers. I was working on Saturday night so more tips will go up later or in the morning.
For now I have another -1 Super Single and I believe Rangers will win pretty easily at Tynecastle and return to the top of the table. Saturday’s Scottish preview has all the reasoning.
