IT was a quiet night on Thursday unless you were watching Casablanca.
Maccathered’s obviously a big fan so “here’s looking at you kid” after four winners out of four in Morocco.
Well done to HullShaker and anyone else who found winners with not much to go on. Scott was a Parma goal short on his members bet as he was spot on with the corners.
So we head into the weekend and while my focus is on Saturday’s games I’ll look to put up a Friday treble in the afternoon to go with my Super Single that was posted yesterday morning.
Greg and Selectabet have analysed the third round of the Scottish Cup and found value in a double featuring Aberdeen and Rangers who both should win comfortably at home. Please listen to the podcast I have included below.
Kevinmac has posted his own views for Rangers vs Stranraer, so check it out!
My Super Single is Rangers -3 and the reasoning is in my match preview but the price has gone.
Other games on Friday include Fulham v Middlesbrough in the Championship and while this game comes three days after Boro lost at Spurs in the FA Cup they should be well prepared as they try to maintain their push up the table.
Jonathan Woodgate’s men have stayed in the capital, using Crystal Palace’s training facility, and that level of professionalism could be rewarded with at least a point.
There’s a big game in the Bundesliga between Schalke and Borussia M’gladbach. I’d slightly favour a home win but five of the last seven meetings have been draws.
Leganes v Getafe in La Liga is another that’s tough to call but in Portugal I expect goals at Porto v Braga and Benfica to win at Sporting.
