WOLVES completed a great weekend for Liverpool by beating Man City to leave the gap at the top at eight points.
It’s a significant lead and Jurgen Klopp’s men are now 4-6 with Coral from evens to end their title drought. City are out to 11-8 with Arsenal and Chelsea 66-1.
On a day of shocks Newcastle’s defeat of Man United wasn’t a huge surprise and Ole Gunnar Solskjaer is now just 6-4 (from 6-1) with Coral to be the next Premier League manager to leave his job.
Everton’s Marco Silva is the 11-10 favourite and Spurs’ Mauricio Pochettino can’t be ruled out at 8-1.
The day started with Celtic losing at Livingston and a double on Celtic and City would have paid around 225-1.
As has been the norm in recent weeks I had two out of three on both my trebles. I suggested cover on my both to score treble when we needed just a Sevilla goal but I didn’t take it and after missing several chances I was tasting bitter orange as they crashed 4-0.
We’re no heading into the international break so it’s a quiet night with Bolton v Blackpool and Orleans v Lens the biggest games on the card so it’s likely to be a no-bet day for me.
Well done to all the winners yesterday – been working so haven’t had a chance to look at everything.
