GREG sent me a text earlier saying “late goals are great goals” and in his case that was spot on.
He napped Hibs at Carlisle and from 3-1 down they won 4-3 with a last-gasp clincher. Well done to HullShaker and also Scott with their winners and to everyone else including shortee who profited from TNS’s laet demise.
I said Rangers to win to nil was the best bet of the day but just as I was thinking about a cashout or cover on Red Star not winning the roof caved in on TNS. The Welsh champions were cruising at 2-0 but conceded in the 90th and 93rd minutes to make their return trip to Albania almost mission impossible.
On Wednesday the focus is on the Champions League qualifiers including Linfield v Rosenborg and Dundalk v Riga. I’ll have a closer look at the games in the morning before deciding whether to put up a double or treble.
