IT was one winner and loser on Sunday as the season’s close draws ever closer.
Juventus finally netted at home to Atalanta to bring up an 11-4 both to score treble but my more speculative 11-2 Top Treble was a loser despite Aberdeen’s victory at Hibs.
That win was in vain as Kilmarnock sealed third place in the Premiership and a return to Europe. Aberdeen will still make the Europa League if Celtic beat Hearts in the Scottish Cup Final.
Well done to all the winners and we move to a quiet Monday with Lazio v Bologna the only game in the top leagues and it doesn’t mean much.
Elsewhere the focus is on the Scandinavian leagues and there are other games dotted about the Continent and while it looks a no-bet day I might dig out a double or a treble.
