MY countdown to the weekend continues with Wedneday and Thursday two no-bet nights for me.
Thursday just as quiet as Wednesday was but there are more women’s Champions League ties for anyone who is an expert in that field. Arsenal and Man City are among the sides in action.
I’ve been spending my spare time looking at the weekend card.
My Saturday Super Single shortlist was published on Tuesday and on Wednesday I put up a Super Single for Friday night.
I’m going with Arbroath draw no bet at home to Partick Thistle. In stature the Jags are the biggest club by a long way but on form they’re weaker than their part-time hosts.
Arbroath lie fourth in the Championship while Gary Caldwell’s men are bottom after taking just one point from their first four games.
The Red Lichties have kept three successive clean sheets, beating Alloa and Dunfermline 1-0 and holding leaders Dundee United 0-0 at Tannadice before winning on penalties.
Gayfield, perched on the edge of the North Sea, is never that welcoming for visiting teams especially if the wind blows and this is a match Thistle might not enjoy.
I can see Arbroath winning at 9-5 with betfair – and they are slight underdogs – but I’m playing safer with Arbroath draw no bet at evens with BetVictor.
