SIX days of hectic Euro 2020 qualifiers are over – at least for another month – and I’m starting to look forward to the weekend games.
It’s been an up and down few days and I finished on a low with two losers I rate unlucky. My Super Single Eran Zahavi netted second instead of first for Israel and my Top Treble was a winner until Bosnia conceded a late goal to Greece that ended their hopes of qualifying.
Two of my strongest tips were Finland and Switzerland and both won well. Yesterday I said I feared the worst for Ireland and despite leading the table look destined to finish third.
Denmark and Switzerland have a game in hand and both are still to play Gibraltar so the Irish will have to beat the Danes at home on the last day and that’s unlikely on current form.
Finland’s 3-0 win, with Teemu Pukki scoring as I predicted on my preview, are almost there as their next game is an easy one at home to Liechtenstein.
Well done to all the winners last night including Greg with his nap and Scott with another members bet.
I’ve got a few points to make up this weekend so Wednesday and Thursday will be no bet days as I spend more time studying Saturday’s card.
Not much to look at on Wednesday anyway but if there’s an expert out there on women’s Champions League qualifiers then step up to the plate.
