OCTOBER nearly ended with a spectacular win but just like last month I ended a goal short.
I attempted an 18-1 over 2.5 goals fourfold nicked from Chip69 and while the first three came in we were beaten by Boavista 2, Braga 0.
And the second goal came too late to consider a cover bet or receive a decent cashout offer. My Top Treble was downed by Granada’s loss to end a decent run.
So it’s back to the drawing board for the start of November and as usual my focus is on Saturday’s card – once I finish my write-ups I’ll look to pick out something for Friday.
Greg has already picked out Dundee at home to Morton and I fancy a home win and over 2.5 goals – that could be a Super Single.
Elsewhere it’s Barnsley v Bristol City in the English Championship, Hoffenheim v Paderborn in Bundesliga and Dijon v PSG in France. There are the usual lower-league matches in France and Holland for everyone to look at.
