THERE weren’t really any major cup shocks on Tuesday with Newcastle and Spurs getting the job done at the second time of asking and Inter, Lazio and Napoli getting the job done in Italy.
I decided the most I was risking was 1pt but my treble, revised after Tranmere v Watford was called off, fell well short.
There are two more replays on Wednesday – Carlisle v Cardiff and Man United v Wolves – as well as cup games in Italy and three Ligue 1 matches including Monaco v PSG. Goals should be expected there as they drew 3-3 on Sunday and the last six meetings between the sides in the Principality have gone over 2,5 goals.
Italian ties include Juventus v Udinese and Milan and Atalanta should go through with the Old Lady if results go as expected.
I’ll put up at least one tip in the morning after checking stats and team news.
