Mr Fixit’s Top Tips: FC Honking let me down

I SEARCHED long and hard for a treble on Sunday only to be beaten by a honking result.

Finns FC Honka, aiming to hit the top, lost 1-0 at home to a KPV side that started bottom. Norrkoping and Malmo were the other picks and both won away.

I did say I was tempted by a Verona/Dijon double in the play-offs and should have stuck with that as both won well.

At least Auchinleck Talbot won the Scottish Junior Cup by beating Largs 2-0 which meant the stake refunded on the moneyback fivefold I posted on Friday night.

Well done to all the winners on Sunday and it’s seriously quiet on Monday and for me will be a no-bet day.

I haven’t been following the Under-20s World Cup and instead of trying to catch up I’ll do some research for the start of the women’s World Cup on Friday and have an early look at the Nations League semis on Wednesday and Thursday and the Euro 2020 qualifiers.
