AS expected Celtic, Rangers and Wolves battled into the group stage of the Europa League – even if Steven Gerrard’s men left it late.
Alfredo Morelos’ 90th-minute goal broke Legia Warsaw hearts and more importantly ended Scott’s run of losers on the members bet by bringing up his double.
My two trebles were beaten by one (again) but well done to all the other winners including Chris Guy with 9-1 anytime scorer Seb Larsson at AIK v Celtic and shortee with his both to score Nap at Qarabag v Linfield that came up late.
Plenty to look at on Friday and I’ve posted a separate preview on the two Scottish Championship games between Dundee United v Dundee and Inverness v Morton. In England it’s Cardiff v Fulham and we have the usual selection of games across the Continent.
For now I have two tips from the Scottish games – they are reasoned on the other post – and may add something else after I finish my Saturday column for the Record.
