IT’S amazing how almost always a new manager gives a team a lift as Jack Ross has done at Hibs.
Same players but totally different displays to this season under Paul Heckingbottom.
Ross marked his first game at Easter Road with a fine 3-1 defeat of Motherwell and followed up by winning 2-1 at old club St Mirren.
He’s going for three in a row when Killie visit today and having got a reaction from playing Christian Doidge and Flo Kamberi up front there’s every chance of a Hibs win at 13-10 with McBookie.
Hibs have netted 2+ in their last six games and a magnificent seventh pays 3-5 at Marathonbet.
Killie should contribute to the goals total having hit five in two so consider Hibs and both to score at 4-1 with betfair.
Doidge has netted five in three since Hecky left and is 23-10 at Paddy Power to score again.
Motherwell look a decent bet at 21-20 with Coral to beat St Johnstone who are rock bottom but level on 11 points with three others.
Aberdeen let me down last week when they were held at nine-man St Johnstone but should see off a St Mirren side who remain pointless on the road. The Dons are 1-2 at McBookie and I like Sam Cosgrove to score first at 17-5 with Unibet.
The Old Firm are in action tomorrow with Celtic first up at Ross County followed by Rangers at home to Hearts.
Normally a trip to Dingwall after a Thursday night Europa League game would be considered a banana skin but it’s only County who face a slip-up.
County have picked up two points in 15 since being thrashed 6-0 at Parkhead and I expect another easy day for the champions.

Rangers, despite a trip to Rotterdam on Thursday, should find just as simple at home to managerless Hearts who were beaten in just 16 minutes at Killie last week.

Rangers -1 and Celtic -1 looks a decent double at 7-5 with Betfred.

However, the top two, Dundee United and Ayr, should win although both are quite short.
United head to Morton without top scorer Lawrence Shankland but last time he was missing they managed just fine with a 3-0 defeat of QoS.
The Tangerines have won just once in five visits to Cappielow but Ton couldn’t beat Brora at home last week. United are 3-5 at Marathonbet – I’d have bitten your hand off for evens.
Ayr won 3-0 at Arbroath earlier in the season and are 13-20 at McBookie to stay in touch with the leaders.
Big game in League One is Airdrie v East Fife. The Diamonds have soared to the top with five wins in a row but the Fifers are just one point adrift.
They’ll still be licking their wounds after a stunning Scottish Cup defeat at home to BSC Glasgow and I’m going with Airdrie at 13-10 at McBookie.
League Two leaders Cove are back on form with four wins after a blip and are just 2-5 at Sky Bet to win at Annan who have lost four out of six.
