ALL five of Sunday’s FA Cup ties went with the form with all five winners going off as favourites which appreaed to be good news for punters judging the number of excellent winners posted in the comments. Well done to everyone that got a line up.
It was nice to get both Trebles up on Sunday to add to the winning 13/10 Super Single on Saturday. Chelsea, Juve and Bayern all won and scored at least twice to deliver the ‘Safe-ish’ Treble at a little over 13/10 while Burnley, Man Utd and Everton -1 completed a handy 15/1 Treble that was advised as a 4pt Trixie. Long overdue!
Monday’s Betting Tips
The FA Cup fourth round concludes at Adams Park on Monday night when Spurs (1/5) travel to face Wycombe Wanderers (11/1), live on BTSport. Wanderers boss Gareth Ainsworth reckons he should have enough players to fill the bench as his squad continues to recover from an enforced shutdown since Jan 9th.
He’s also expecting Jose Mourinho to name a strong starting XI and it’s been encouraging to see most Premier League sides do the same over the weekend. Jose has almost came a cropper at Wycombe before when his Chelsea side were held to a 1-1 draw in the League Cup semi-final first leg in 2007 but he had the benefit of a second leg to get the job done back then, there are no second chances this time around.
All six of Carlos Vinícius’ goals for Spurs have come in cup competitions this season, including a hat-trick in the last round and he could feature again. The Brazilian is 13/4 at Unibet to open the scoring and could be worth a play if he starts.
