WE go again on Monday with the next round of World Cup qualifiers and it’s Wales who carry the home nations’ hopes tonight.
Robert Page’s side earned a hard-fought 2-2 with Czech Republic on Thursday to keep them in with a real chance of securing second place in the group and with that, a play-off berth. But they need to keep the pressure on the Czechs with a win in Estonia.
Both teams cancelled each other out when they met in Cardiff in September so the Welsh will need to find a way to break down a defence that has shipped five to Belgium and six to Czech Republic in this campaign already!
Gareth Bale still misses out die to injury but the Welsh should still be good enough to get the job done. 4/7 is a bit short to get involved but if you add two or more Wales’ goals on a BetBuilder then that boosts the odds to a more favourable 21/20.
Revenge will be in the air for Germany in Skopje tonight as they look to set the record straight against North Macedonia who stunned world football with a 2-1 win in Duisburg in March. The Germans huffed and puffed their way to a win over Romania last week but although you cannot see them dropping points for a second time to the Macedonians they just look too short at 1/5.
Instead look to Norway who can take big step towards securing second place in Group G with a win over Montenegro. They’ll be without Haaland and Sorloth so this isn’t a gimme but they should be good enough at 11/20.
Croatia can complete a double for us at home to Slovakia. The 2018 World Cup finalists are locked in a battle for top spot with Russia in Group G. Opponents Slovakia have picked up a creditable nine points so far but those have all come against Cyprus, Malta and Slovenia and the Croatians should be a cut above.

Golf Tips
The Caddy’s headline tip at the Open de Espana had a putt to win the title but had to settle for runners-up spot after losing the first hole of the two-man play-off. Adri Arnaus gave us a brilliant run for our money at 35/1 but couldn’t get over the line, losing out to fellow Spaniard, Rafa Cabrera-Bello, at their home event. Still, each-way money at those odds isn’t to be sneezed at.
At the time of writing it looks like no joy in the US for The Caddy as Sam Burns slips down the leaderboard. The American had been in contention all weekend but after his winning exploits of last weekend it looks like he’s run out of steam and likely to finish out of the place money.
