AS if all those Easter eggs weren’t enough there’s another Easter treat in store for punters on Monday with a full card of Football League matches.
Boro and Watford kick things off at lunchtime and the with Norwich and Brentford not playing until Tuesday the Hornets have the chance to close the gap on the league leading Canaries and open up a 12 point lead on the Bees who are in third.
Six wins on the bounce has taken Watford to within touching distance of a return to the Premier League and a win today would see them need 13 points from their remaining six games to secure promotion. Early kick-offs are to be treaed with caution but 5/4 on the away win against a Boro side tha have lost their last two.
Another in-form team in England are League One’s Sunderland who came from behind against Oxford on Good Friday to make it six wins from seven. They travel to promotion rvials Peterborough in one of Monday’s matches of the day.
Posh have got things back on track with two victories after just one win in six but defeat will see them slip to third in the table and out of the automatic promotion places. Lee Johnson’s side are 17/10 to win at London Road and on current form you wouldn’t put it past them. Tolu expects goals in his match preview for the games that’s live on Sky Sports at 3pm.
In the Premier league Everton, who have lost their last three, welcome Crystal Palace to Goodison Park. Considering Everton’s home form they probably shouldn’t be 4/5 to win but they’ve not lost in the last 12 against Palace.
