The M23 Derby is the highlight of a quiet Monday but don’t expect this one to get up speed very quickly.
Brighton v Crystal Palace boasts a strange rivalry that bizarelly has its roots in the Spurs squad of 1966, where future Seagulls and Eagles managers Alan Mullery and Terry Venables were once teammates.
Brighton’s last seven Premier League games have seen just six goals but they’ve only lost once since the turn of the year although they need to start picking up three points, rather one, to propel themselves clear of the relegation zone.
Palace aren’t out of the woods either. A couple of wins over Wolves and Newcastle gave them some breathing space but defeat tonight would see them overtaken by Brighton.
Brighton have been the draw specialists this season and this could be another match where a share if the spoils would suit both sides at 5/2. No goal before the 32nd minute could also be worth a look at 5/6.
