Tom & Jerry, Fish & Chips, Yin and Yang – some partnership are just meant to be. And now we can add Scottie Scheffler and The Caddy to the list!
For the third time this year our golfing guru tipped the 25-year-old and for the third time he obliged, this time winning the big one, The Masters, the famous green jacket and at a delightful 16/1.
Scheffler led from the front in the final round and despite a charge from Rory McIroy who posted a course record 64, powered on to win by three shots, but not before a final wobble on the 18th green. The Caddy has been raving about the boy from New Jersey long before he was World No.1 and tipped him at the start of the year to pick up a major title sooner rather than later.
Speaking of Rory, he was also on The Caddy’s shortlist for the weekend and will have earned some tidy each-way money for those that backed him at 20/1. Justin Thomas wasn’t too far away either, he eventually finished T8 so well done if you managed to get on him each0way with eight places.
To add even more money to the pot The Caddy also capped things off with a 4/5 Nap and a 6/4 SUPER NAP, both of which relied on Bryson DeChambeau’s disappointing form. Here’s a little reminder of how The Caddy’s tips finished.
- Scottie Scheffler 16/1 EW – WON ✅ 🏆
- Rory McIlroy 20/1 EW – 2ND ✅ 🥈
- Justin Thomas 14/1 EW – 8TH ❌
- Louis Oosthuizen to beat Bryson De Chambeau 4/5 Nap WON ✅
- Bryson De Chambeau to miss the cut 6/4 5pts Super Nap WON ✅
- No hole in one 6/5 ❌
Phenomenal stuff from The Caddy yet again. Well done sir! If there’s a better golf tipster out there we’d love to meet them!
On to Monday and tonight’s live match on Sky Sports sees fourth and fifth in the Championship meet when Huddersfield host Luton Town.
Both sides are locked in a battle for a play-off place and there could be as many as nine teams you could still make a case for finishing in the top six so every point is crucial at this stage of the season.
Of the two sides the Hatters are in the better form, they’ve lost just one of their last six but have drawn their last two. Huddersfield’s win over Hull Last time out was their first win in five in all competitions. There’s been little to choose between the sides in recent meetings too with the points being shared in the last three meetings.
That looks the most likely outcome again tonight at 11/5.
