If The Caddy was a footballer he’d be Ballon D’or material. He’s scored more winners than Cristiano Ronaldo in the last 12 months and struck gold again yesterday with another 28/1 winner, this time on the DP World Tour.
Headline pick Pablo Larrazabal won on home turf at a cracking 28/1 to claim the ISPS Handa Championship in Spain. Just a fortnight ago The Caddy’s followers were toasting the Masters winner, Scottie Scheffler, tipped at at 16/1 and they didn’t have too long to wait for the next success to come along.
Larrazabal’s win also meant The Caddy’s NAP bet won yet again as he was tipped to beat Joachim B Hansen over 72 holes at 10/11.
Our golf tipster has been on fire this year and is second to none when it comes to picking winners. If you don’t already follow his tips then there’s no time like the present to get started. Keep an eye out for his tips which will be posted Tuesday or Wednesday.
On to Monday’s football and the Sky cameras are at Selhurst Park for the visit of Leeds United.
Whilst Crystal Palace look relatively safe in 14th, the resurgence of Burnley has dragged Leeds right in to the relegation battle. They’re just three points above the drop zone and with Man City, Arsenal and Chelsea up next they could do with picking up a point or three tonight.
Jesse Marsch seems to be getting a tune of his squad however and they’ve picked up an impressive 10 points from their last 12. Palace on the other hand could see their season fizzle out. Defeat in the FA Cup semi-final was one of three losses in a row and defeat would see Leeds move to within a point of them.
Prior to those defeats the Eagles enjoyed a purple patch at home with wins over Arsenal and Everton and a draw with champions Manchester City.
A share of the spoils wouldn’t surprise you here at 5/2 but you might be as well to back BTTS at 8/11 with SBK.
Porto at 4/5 need to win at Braga to maintain their lead at the top of the table in Portugal. They’re in good form and haven’t conceded a goal in their last six domestic matches.
In Denmark, Brondby are having a terrible time of it, losing five in a row without scoring a goal. They host Midtjylland who are four of their last five and could be worth a bet at 11/10.
