Just when you might’ve thought the winners were drying up for The Caddy he bounced back in some style at the weekend with not one, but TWO brilliant outright winners at 25/1 and 28/1.
There’s been plenty of talk of droughts in the UK recently and by his own incredible standards he was thirsty for a big win after a few weeks without one, and the bookies were punished once more by our amazing tipster who is second to none.
Super Scot Ewen Ferguson (25/1) provided the first win of the day, wrapping up the ISPS Handa World Invitational by maintaining his over-night three shot lead. Countryman Connor Syme made it a brilliant one-two for Scotland, and The Caddy, who also tipped him at 20/1, providing some nice each-way returns.
Over on the PGA Tour Will Zalatoris broke his duck by winning his maiden title. He’s been knocking the door for so long so well done to The Caddy for picking the right time to get on board for his first win at a very tidy 28/1.
Needless to say that Zalatoris’ win also landed the matchbet NAP by beating Jordan Spieth at 10/11 and last but not least The Caddy’s SuperNap ALSO won with David Law beating Richard Bland also at 10/11. What an amazing weekend and well done to anyone that doubled-up the two tournament winners for a 753/1 Double!
On to the football and things are starting to take shape across the divisions. Just two teams, Man City and Arsenal, have started the Premier League with two wins from two so a win for Liverpool tonight could take them as high as third.
After their coupon-busting draw at Fulham last weekend there can be no slip-ups tonight against Crystal Palace. The Eagles have lost the last 10 in the league against Liverpool so 12/1 on a surprise win seems about right.
Liverpool at 1/5 is way too short but to be winning half-time/full-time is 8/11 and Liverpool could be quick out the traps tonight.
The Reds’ last five home league matches saw them hit 5-11-13-10-9 corners and that could provide a good angle tonight. They’re 4/5 to hit eight or more and 5/4 to hit at least nine. When the two sides last met at Anfield in September Liverpool won the corner count 10-5 making Palace to win three or more corners also appeal at 4/5.
