Motherwell v Ross County
MOTHERWELL have nothing to play for in their last game, but they should still have too much to beat a Ross County side, who could be left sweating at the end of the day.
With Hamilton Accies all but relegated, attention turns to the battle to avoid a potential Premiership play-off against surely a fast-improving Dundee that neither Kilmarnock nor Ross County will fancy.
Killie need to win at Accies and hope Motherwell do them a favour at home to County. And they should be able to fulfil their end of the bargain.
Well have lost just once in their last 11 games in all competitions in 90 minutes and would have taken plenty from battling back from two goals down to draw at Dundee United in midweek.
Manager Graham Alexander seems determined to ensure his men finish the season on a high and they should have too much at Fir Park for a County side who are inconsistent.
And 11/8 is a very decent price for Well to end their season with a win, with the likes of Devante Cole in fine form.
St Mirren v Dundee Utd
ST MIRREN can get the better of a young Dundee United side to end their campaign on a winning note.
Tannadice boss Micky Mellon fielded 16-year-old Kerr Smith and a couple of other kids in midweek against Motherwell and they did well before fading.
He’s likely to pick the same youthful side again and a Saints side still smarting from their second semi-final exit in a national Cup competition last week can take advantage.
Their never say die attitude saw them snatch a point at Rugby Park in midweek and Jim Goodwin will be desperate to make sure they finish as high up the table as possible and ahead of opponents United.
Rangers v Aberdeen
RANGERS should end their season in style by winning to nil against Aberdeen at Ibrox.
Steven Gerrard’s side will complete the league season unbeaten unless the 9/1 Dons stun them. And another clean sheet will mean a new Scottish record too.
And against an Aberdeen side who have struggled to score for many months now, they will never have a better chance.
Rangers have defeated the Pittodrie side on three occasions out of three this season and look poised to complete the set before they get presented with the Premiership trophy.
