A trip to Freiburg could offer the perfect opportunity to end their poor run of form, with the hosts failing to win any of their last six league outings.
After winning their opening match of the campaign, Freiburg have drawn three and lost three and sit just three points clear of the bottom three.
Recent meetings have proven to be fruitful for Freiburg, having won the last two, but Mainz triumphed on the previous three occasions and can’t be overlooked.

Werder Bremen are next up for the defending champions and goals look to be on the agenda at the Allianz Arena.
Hansi Flick’s side are comfortably the top scorers in the division after seven games, netting 27 times, and recent home meetings with Werder have been full of goals.
Last season’s engagement finished 6-1 in favour of Bayern, while three of the last four have seen at least six goals scored.
Backing a Bayern win with over 3.5 goals, which is priced at 4/7, looks the way to go in this one.

Union Berlin have been the surprise package in the Bundesliga this term and another victory looks to be on the cards this weekend.
