Rooster last met with R!OT Gaming’s core in May, while the latter were still playing under Bizarre, and won with 16-6 on Nuke. Rooster have made several roster changes since then, bringing in Daniel “DannyG” Giusa and Johnny “jcg” Grima as replacements for Tyson “asap” Paterson and Corey “nettik” Browne. Similarly, R!OT have added David “cheeseball” Shiell and Lachlan “Fiend” Geron.
The teams now field entirely different lineups, so we can’t put too much weight on their last outing. Still, it doesn’t make much sense to have R!OT priced as high as they are. Rooster haven’t played a single competitive match in over two weeks, and they weren’t very impressive in the group stage either.
The offered betting odds on the outsiders are way too high considering how close these two sides are talent-wise. Take R!OT with a map handicap.

Chiefs Esports Club are ranked as the seventh-best team in the region, but that doesn’t mean much since all Oceanic teams outside of Renegades and ORDER are considered equally as strong as each other. You don’t have to look far to prove that, seeing how Chiefs lost to R!OT Gaming (1-2) and narrowly edged past Rooster (2-1) across their last seven outings (4-3).
BBBMB played well last month, qualifying for the second stage of LPL Pro League 2021 Season 2 with a 3-1 record. Even though they were awarded one forfeit win against Dynasty Esports Club, BBBMB proved their worth against Sylyx Esports (2-1) and Team Skyfire (2-1).
Chiefs have a better form ranking and field more experienced players, but that doesn’t explain the latest CS:GO betting odds. At $1.04, Chiefs’ implied win probability is 96.2%, which is way too high for a regional derby. At best, this should be an 80/20 match.
